Marie 13 & Engineer Ferris’ Psychoziness is a concept album exploring themes of counterculture, disillusionment, alienation, loneliness, depression, substance abuse, sexual deviance, suicidal tendencies, self-harm, anger management, street violence, mental health, and neurodivergence, aiming to raise awareness among listeners, especially teenagers.

Psychoziness is a wordplay built from “psycho” and “coziness.” It is an instrumental album consisting entirely of melodic versions of Marie and Ferris’ songs from their other records. It was recorded for those who want to sing along, or who are simply too tired to deal with any words.

The sleeve depicts a three-eyed, devil-horned cat with a semicolon facial tattoo, drawn as an old-school tattoo flash sheet. It was designed by Engineer Ferris as concept art, with each image serving as a brief illustration of a particular track. The main character is a suicide-survivor cat wearing an old punk-rocker jacket, representing the song “Simon Says.”
