Temperance: Grace with Teeth

Imagine stillness. Calm. Harmony.

You’re lying in the grass, you’re mysterious and peaceful. Life just flows. And possibilities? They just float in the air around you — all you have to do is reach out and grab them.

That, my fiends, is the Temperance card in its upright position.

But if the Temperance card shows up reversed — well, welcome to the chaos. Your focus is shot, everything’s out of sync, and it’s high time to quit zoning out and get your act together.

When this card appears in a spread, it’s usually a good omen. It means the nightmare phase is winding down. A calm stretch is on the horizon. Conflicts? They’ll sort themselves out — no exhausting talks, no drama, no fists flying.

That said, Temperance doesn’t always come bearing smooth sailing. Sometimes it’s a test — and the outcome depends on whether you can keep your cool and filter the bullshit like a pro.

If you’re reading for the day and pull Temperance — brace yourself, it’s gonna be a bit of a mess. But hey, we’ve been through worse.

Now, if you draw the Temperance card upright — it’s your green light. The window of opportunity is wide open. Jump in. Just remember: to come out of the storm with your dignity intact, you’ll need patience of crocodile and serious self-control.

Otherwise, you risk scaring off every good thing around you, royally screwing up, and ending up with nothing to show for it but public embarrassment and a pile of regrets.

At this point, it’s crucial to stay chill, laugh at the madness, and adopt a healthy level of couldn’t-care-less.

If you pull the reversed Temperance card — oof. You’ve already stirred up some serious shit. The kind that your grandkids might still be untangling someday.

This card is a warning, loud and clear:

Pull yourself together, samurai! Sit your ass down. Breathe. Look around. Take a day off. Take your meds or the universe will slap you upside the head.

Distract yourself. Stop spiraling. You can’t do everything at once.

So if you had a revolution, a coup, or some kind of major life shake-up planned for today — yeah, postpone it. No one’s in the mood. No one cares. Try again tomorrow.

But if you sense someone’s trying to manipulate you — don’t cave. Stand your ground. Speak your truth.

Bottom line? You’ll be alright.

Just remember: revolutions are fueled by a burning heart, clean hands, and a cool head. And whatever you do — don’t let the bastards shoot you down.

Need a decent combo of ink, mysticism, and attitude? I’m right here for it.
